Me and Jenny recorded our podcast in the studio using two microphones plugged into Logic Pro X. Having separate microphones gave a much better quality sound however we had to use some problem solving skills to get everything working because one of the microphones wasn't recording. In terms of planning we made a list of topics that we wanted to cover and then branched off from there. We wanted the conversation to flow naturally instead of reading off a script.We worked well together by communicating.
In terms of editing I removed the parts where there was silence, laughing etc by using the split tool.
I adjusted the mix of the tracks to make the volume consistent.
I added some background music to make the podcast more appealing. I used automation tracks to fade the songs into each other so it sounds smooth and not distracting from the talking.
