How well do you think you have met the brief?

Pretty well. I chose to highlight the facilities of the college because I think that will inspire students to enrol.

How well have you met the target audiences expectations?

My main target audience was young people so I used certain techniques to appeal to them like the fast paced shots that only last a few seconds. I did this to keep the audience's attention. Also the music I used is in my opinion a modern upbeat track which will appeal to young people.

Have you followed or challenged codes and conventions (and why)?

I have followed codes and conventions of a promo video. My video starts with an intro that identifies what the video is about. I used a montage of clips to show the college. I used upbeat music to inspire the audience.  The ending shows the college logo again as well as prompting the viewer to enrol.

What would you do better or differently next time?

Something I think could be improved is the voiceover I just recorded it on my phone. Next time it would be cool if I recorded it with a proper microphone and edited the audio file to get rid of background noise.

What went well and what didn't go so well on this project? What have you learned?

One problem I had was with saving files on the network and then not being able to access them which set me back. I learned to save to a usb or sd card so I don't lose my work.

Overall, are you happy with what you have produced?

Yeah I'm really happy with how it turned out and happy I managed to get it finished in time.
